  • Design, develop, and implement control systems (hardware and software)

  • Troubleshoot and improve PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation)

  • Analyze production processes from scrap melting through finished product

  • Develop performance metrics and connect plant control systems with business systems

  • Provide ongoing maintenance support and see automation projects through completion

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-7 years of experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments

  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, drives, and HMI systems

  • Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings

  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial manufacturing facility and involves exposure to machinery, electrical systems, temperature changes, and other typical plant conditions. Safety is a core value at Rocky Mountain Steel Mills.
