Sector Growth Sr Specialist - Telecommunications, Associate Director

Your Key Responsibilities

Connect and collaborate :

Be the glue driving close connectivity and collaboration across the Sector, Super Region (SR), and Service Line (SL) teams, ensuring alignment with global and SR enablement teams. Cultivate community engagement with the GCSPs that supports a view of client demand and buy‑in of prioritized accounts to drive growth of the Sector.

Drive growth of Strategic and Premier Accounts :

Work closely with GCSPs of strategically important accounts to deliver solutions and campaigns, turning opportunities into wins and reinforcing relationships with SL and Region Account / Pursuit teams.

Facilitate and drive execution :

Support shaping the vision and ambition for the Sector with the Global Sector Leader, SR Sector Leaders and SL representatives, driving end‑to‑end execution. Help manage the Sector Board ensuring disciplined and impactful board management. Monitor macro‑trends and orchestrate the strategic planning cycle to prioritize and deploy solutions, accounts and capital.

Go‑to‑Market & ‘Big Bet’ Activation :

Support GtM and operations teams to implement the GtM strategy and execute Sector big bets and alliance initiatives. Oversee capital allocation to prioritize investments against the Sector strategy.

Brand & Market Reputation :

Work with BMC and Insights to build the right market reputation, including analyst relations and fostering external partnerships to enhance EY’s strategic positioning within the Sector.

What We Look For

Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent qualification required.

10+ years current experience with EY or a Global Professional Services firm.

Flexibility to work extended hours to meet client needs across time zones.

What We Offer You

Competitive compensation and benefits package. U.S. base salary range $135,300 – $260,400 (NYC metro, Washington State, CA – $162,300 – $295,900).

Hybrid work model : 40–60% in‑person collaboration for client‑serving roles.

Flexible vacation policy; additional paid holidays, winter / summer breaks, personal / family care, and other leaves of absence.
