SUMMARY

Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is looking for an experienced and responsible 3D Technician for our Heavy Highway division. This person will be responsible for the use of GPS equipment to coordinate operation of our pavers on road projects. This person will be dedicated to proper attendance, great work ethic, and doing what it takes as part of a team to get the job done.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate Leica geosystem equipment to assist with field surveys for boundaries, topography, and data collection.
• Set up and takedown GPS total stations, bases, and other related handheld equipment.
• Calibrate sites, line and grade verification, and point stakeout.
• Provide construction staking for site layout, structures, grading, paving, roadways, drainage features, etc.
• Shoot in total stations for resection setups.
• Inventory and maintain all 3D equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate safety equipment and using excellent safety practices, while visiting job sites per CTI policies, OSHA, and Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Experience in land surveying and interpreting site survey control points a plus.
• Proficiency in operation of Leica geosystems.
• Able to read and interpret engineering plans and documents and tape measure.
• Possess good mathematical skills.
• Construction design software and hardware experience, preferably Carlson and Leica, a plus.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills. Work well under time constraints and respond positively to change.
• Professional, friendly, self-motivated, proactive, and possess a positive attitude.
• Must pass a post-conditional offer of employment physical.
