Job description

Responsibilities

Hours : 8 : 30-5p, Mon, - Fri, every other weekend & holiday 7a-3 : 30p.

  • Answering incoming calls to Einstein Philadelphia, Einstein Elkins Park and Einstein Montgomery.
  • Process emergencies for all 3 medical centers
  • Answering incoming calls to hospital, providing patient information, overhead paging when needed, and individual beeper paging.
  • Operators at the Medical Center answer calls for the Physicians Answering Service, in addition to processing and delivering messages.
  • Coordinating Code Blue, Code Red, Code Yellow, Code Pink, Code Black and Trauma

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required
  • 1 - 3 years Hospital operator or switchboard experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills in a Hospital Call Center or similar high volume Call Center required
