While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. This new role is designed to support the launch and expansion of Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation System. The Symplicity Spyral Territory Manager will be responsible for driving patient engagement and therapy adoption in high-potential markets. Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation System is cutting-edge technology that will change the lives of patients with high blood pressure. This is a field-based role focused on therapy awareness, access, account activation, and collaboration with senior Territory Managers.
Territory & Account Development
- Drive patient referrals and therapy awareness in targeted geographies.
- Develop deep relationships with high-prescribing hypertension physicians and community stakeholders.
- Support territory activation by opening new accounts in partnership with existing sales teams.
Sales Execution
- Promote and educate of the Symplicity therapy, acting as a therapy specialist and resource.
- Execute focused outreach strategies in "hot" markets with high patient potential.
- Collaborate with senior territory managers to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the territory.
Customer Engagement
- Serve as a consistent touchpoint for physicians and staff, building trust and credibility.
- Educate and equip providers with therapy benefits and pathways that improve patient outcomes.
- Support contract signing and onboarding processes for new accounts.
Training & Development
- Participate in comprehensive training programs to build clinical and sales competencies.
- Operate flexibly in a dynamic, evolving environment with a "project mentality."
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, outreach efforts, and territory performance.
- Adhere to all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
MUST HAVE: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years experience
OR Associate's Degree AND 8+ years experience
OR Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience
* Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
NICE TO HAVE: DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years in Sales with 2+ years in Cath Lab Sales/Medical Capital Equipment/ Surgical Sales/and in hospital pharmaceutical sales
Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel
Demonstrated success in sales hunting and developing new accounts, driving market penetration for innovative technologies
Top 10% past performance, Presidents Club winner
- Frequent travel within assigned territory
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Sit/stand/walk for 68 hours per day
- Operate a moving vehicle with valid driver's license and insurance
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
