Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Tester to join our team in the Miami, FL area .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Runs test scenarios for software usability and prepares reports on the software’s effectiveness and defects for the Development Team.
Identifies and log issues that occur during an application's runtime and provide regular updates on the issues found, including their causes and possible resolutions.
Documents the steps to reproduce defects, associated test data, and other relevant information.
Conducts regression testing to ensure there are no additional bugs or issues caused by the fixes implemented and perform thorough testing by covering all test cases to ensure the application works as intended.
Examines logs carefully to identify issues and conduct a thorough analysis to determine their underlying causes.
Has experience in designing, running, and reporting the results of applications testing scenarios.
Takes direction from senior personnel and collaborates and shares work with other Testers
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field
Minimum of four (4) years of related experience
Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an Associate’s degree
A Master’s degree may be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. can be considered in lieu of four (4) years of experience
Minimum of two (2) years of position-specific experience
IAT Level II Certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP) within 6 months of commencing work
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Software Development
Four (4) years of experience in an Agile development environment.
Experience with automated test platforms such as Selenium.
Clearance Requirements :
Must have a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements :
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
