Lilly is in a period of unprecedented growth and needs a robust process for evaluating, mitigating, and monitoring third parties and the risk they bring to the company. After initially rolling out the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) initiative in 2020, we continue to evolve process and are now aiming to evaluate a broader set of third-party risks, further mitigate existing risks, enhance competencies, and promote uniformity. We are looking for a leader to partner across internal functions and with external consultants to assess the current state; bring forward an integrated, enterprise-wide solution; and implement our next phase of TPRM.

  • Solution Development : Enhance and / or build a comprehensive process to consistently manage third party risk across the enterprise, with defined roles, specific program requirements, and an integrated technology strategy to streamline the process. Strive to use a consistent solution across risk domains and processes. Work with key collaborators to gain agreement on new processes and solutions.
  • Risk Governance and Framework : Establish formal and integrated governance structure for all functions and risk domains of TPRM to coordinate with the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) team
  • Risk Monitoring and Reporting : Improve insight into third-party risk exposure and classification across all risk domains. Formalize reporting capabilities for key TPRM metrics to enable tactical and strategic decision making across Lilly.
  • Implementation Planning and Execution : Develop an implementation plan the agreed upon solution, balancing speed with simplification and a pragmatic approach to risk management. Partner with Tech@Lilly to ensure plan aligns with tech resources
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements : Ensure processes and technology to support compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Develop and implement risk management policies and protocols in line with the company's business strategies.

  • Additional Skills / Preferences :
