Job descriptionMust be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain a gaming license per the Missouri Gaming Commission requirements. May be required to work weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft office programs, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Some Casino experience is preferred such as table games, slots, finance / cashier, or casino security but not required. Prior Surveillance experience is preferred but not required. Must have excellent telecommunications and report writing skills. Excellent time management skills. Able to accurately type reports, use keypads, keyboards and mouse for long periods of time and operate mechanical controls. Able to view monitors for extended periods of time and be able to discern color. Able to react quickly and accurately under demanding high stress conditions. Ability to work in a fast paced 24 / 7 Casino environment. High level attention to detail. Ability to be autonomous and very low profile. Must be self-motivated, highly analytical, able to learn and retain data, recall issues, situations, names and faces. Needs be comfortable in confined quarters for long periods of time. Ability to work in a temperature controlled environment.

Job Description
Ameristar-Kansas City is seeking a Surveillance Agent to join the team. The successful candidate will protect the assets of the company and assist in providing safety to our guests and team members in a 24 / 7 casino environment.
- Follow department and property policies and procedures
- Operates and maintains electronic surveillance equipment.
- Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and / or thefts on property.
- Conducts surveillance of areas, guests, and team members to safeguard the assets of the company.
- Conducts investigations as directed by the manager of surveillance.
