TITLE : Box Office Ticket Seller
DEPARTMENT : Ticket Operations
REPORTS TO : Director of Ticket Operations
STATUS : Seasonal, Temporary, Hourly
PAY RATE : Minimum Wage
The Box Office Ticket Seller will assist the Tides front office staff in managing the box office at Harbor Park, providing exceptional customer service to all fans at the ticket window. Ticket Sellers will leverage their passion for sports, entertainment, and customer service to enhance and drive the front-line fan experience at Harbor Park.
Essential Duties : Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Sell tickets at the windows in a quick and efficient manner
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, event knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
- Distribute will call tickets
- Fan accommodation including appropriate handling of ADA seating requests
- Compute ticket prices and collect payment from customers
- Prepare end of shift sales report
- Operate computerized ticket terminal and related equipment
- Respond effectively and courteously to requests from customers; assists in resolving problems
- Provide information concerning ticket prices, events, and building policies and procedures
- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
