Responsible for managing the purchasing and logistics of tools used by the Electric Power Division. Will work with Project Managers and field leadership to ensure all jobs have the necessary tools. Responsible for tracking the location of existing tools and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure new tools are being obtained in a cost-effective manner.
Principal Accountabilities :
Develop and maintain a system for purchasing and tracking tools.
Maintains proper inventory of tools and supplies for in-house stock.
Coordinates transportation of tools to and from job sites.
Ensures tool inventory documents and computerized records are accurate and complete.
Responsible for keeping track of tool needs on job sites in consultation with Project Managers and field leadership.
Performs additional assignments as requested by management. May serve on company committees as required.
Description of physical working environment :
Works in a normal office / shop environment. When in the office, regularly works from a sitting position with a computer. Repetitive typing and computer use required.
Periodic travel to jobsites will be required.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Required :
Two-year business related associate’s degree. (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Experience in inventory control and / or purchasing is preferred.
Working knowledge of inventory management and purchasing procedures.
Strong written / verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
