Job Title : Tool & Die Maker
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Tool & Die Makers to join our team. We offer three levels for this position, each with varying responsibilities and requirements. Level A is the highest, requiring at least 7 years of experience, Level B requires 4+ years, and Level C requires 2+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Level A : Plan, design, construct, or repair a wide variety of highly intricate and complicated tools, dies, jigs, gauges, and fixtures to extremely close tolerances.
- Level A : Perform difficult development work and construct tools where no design is available.
- Level A : Select allowances and device mechanism details.
- Level A : Perform highly skilled fitting, adjusting, and timing of tools and machinery.
- Level A : Perform work involving multi-station progressive dies, intricate compound dies of irregular shape, subpress dies for parts of delicate outline, and complex index milling fixtures.
- Level A : Perform any tool room machine operation, including CAD / KEY, CNC lathe, and other technologies required for toolroom operations.
- Level A : Work from complicated drawings and sketches.
- Level A : Use advanced shop mathematics and all types of precision measuring instruments.
- Level A : Apply a high degree of experience, trade skill, and thorough knowledge of machine shop practice.
- Level A : Other duties as assigned.

- Level B : Construct complex units where designs are available.

- Level B : Work from complicated drawing and sketches.
