Job Title : Configuration Engineer Location : Orlando, FL (Onsite) Contract Type : 1099 Compensation : $50 per hour iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking a Configuration Engineer for one of their clients. Job Description : We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Configuration Engineer to support our client's efforts in executing complex software systems and developing critical testing programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in test planning, system integration, and configuration management. Key Responsibilities : Establish and maintain functional test cases and procedures for program capabilities and products. Support functional, integration, and delivery verification testing activities for assigned products. Assist with baseline release verifications and validations for associated products. Support hardware and software system patching and tracking activities. Provide testing support for capability assessments and technology investigations. Offer assistance in resolving open program problem reports (PPRs) for the associated product. Provide site support for testing and site setup activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical and programmatic issues. Required Qualifications : 3-8 years of experience in a relevant field with a BA / BS degree. Proven experience in planning and executing complex software system test cases and procedures. Experience in developing test scenarios, scripts, and managing requirements. Ability to effectively communicate technical and programmatic issues. Demonstrated experience working with controlled engineering baselines. Proficiency in executing testing programs and scripts within Linux-based environments. Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git. Strong organizational and team collaboration skills. Desired Skills : Establishing functional test cases and procedures for program capabilities.
