About Moonrise :
Moonrise (moonrise.com) is a colearning space for kids, located in Decatur, Georgia. We’re open seven days a week, including summers, and we believe kids learn best through hands-on, creative exploration. Our experiences are designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in K-8 kids.
What We’re Looking For :
We’re on the hunt for creative, enthusiastic people in the Decatur area who can lead courses, clubs, field trips, sports, or one-time workshops for K-8 kids. Whether it’s in STEM, art, outdoor exploration, or something else entirely, we want to hear your ideas! You can host your experience at Moonrise or even in your own space if that works better.
Responsibilities :
- Lead fun, hands-on sessions with K-8 kids.
- Create your own curriculum based on your skills and passions.
- Offer ongoing experiences—whether it’s a weekly club, short course, or one-time workshop.
Subjects we’re looking to offer
Moonrise is open to hosting any type of learning experience. But we’re especially interested in novel, interesting subjects that kids will be excited to dive into. Things like :
