Drivers on this regional job will operate in IN, KY, MI, MO, TN, and AR.
Shift Details :
Drivers will be off for a 34-hour restart once a week
Will need to be available to run during the weekends. 34 will be during the week.
Time off requests need to be sent in 2 weeks ahead of time for us to be able to find coverage.
Will be out on the road and get a 34 every week. We will try to get drivers through the house more then their 34-hours reset but it will depend on freight.
Position Details :
50% drop and hook.
Loads are preloaded at the DC and the po# starting with SH will be needed when checking in at the gate for pickup.
Delivers are live unload at the stores. They are set delivery appointments at 0500, 0600, 0700, or 1000. We must make these appointments on time.
Drivers will run in IN, KY, MI, MO, TN, & AR
Loads delivering home improvement, agriculture, and lawn and garden maintenance products from vendors to the mixing center and from the mixing center to stores
For store deliveries, drivers cannot be in the cab during the unloading process. This is a safety requirement.
No touch freight.
Mostly very early morning driving.
Drivers will help support other fleets / account / Intermodal Dray on an as needed basis.
Needs to be able to park a tractor and trailer at home or nearby.
The DC will not allow us to park there.
May need to sweep out trailers. Drivers will receive sweep out pay of $15 if they need to sweep a trailer out.
Empty trailers must be cleaned out before dropping at the DC.
