Manhattan’s Marine Division is currently seeking a Friction Crane Mechanic - Field.

Operations would be focusing on Eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The equipment ranges from dozers, excavators and cranes to tugboats and winches. Field mechanic will travel to job sites to repair equipment on site. Position may require occasional overnight stays near job sites due to a remote location.

Shift 50+ hours each week, Monday through Saturday.

Diesel Service Technician Responsibilities :

• Perform equipment repairs in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and that fellow employees do the same.
• Troubleshoot problems on all equipment using test equipment, tools, service manuals, and service bulletins.
• Utilize all departmental reference materials, service and parts manuals as needed to complete the job.
• Continually study and upgrade proficiency in construction equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Keep paperwork up-to-date at all times, personal and company (Work orders - Physical Card - Log Books - Time Sheets).
• Analyze repair steps in order to do it in the best / most efficient way possible.
• Operate construction equipment for diagnostics and repair.
