Job Description :

The Market & Trading Risk Analyst is responsible for preparing management reports and analyzing financial risk, compliance, and controls. This individual works collaboratively with front office personnel and other teams to ensure overall compliance with RaceTrac's Risk Management goals, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze the risk of the company's portfolio across commodities and products
• Provides data to Financial Accounting to complete monthly close-out
• Monitors and forecasts market trends
• Provides ad-hoc analytical support to senior leadership to assist with business investment decisions
• Provide accurate exposure, mark to market (MTM), and profitability reporting of all transactions as assigned by portfolio
• Provide back up for the responsibilities of other Risk Team members
• Resolve discrepancies and inaccuracies in contracts by communicating with traders, customers, and brokers; escalate to Senior Team Members as needed
• Independently prepare advanced ad-hoc analysis, reports, and presentations on demand
• Identify areas for improvements and continual development of risk systems
