Bons Barricades, Inc. is a Traffic Control Management company seeking an experienced and hard-working Traffic Control Technician to join our growing team

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform set up and taking down of road closures

Setting up and removing temporary signs, cones and other traffic control equipment to divert traffic from work area

Operates company trucks to transport equipment to the job site and set up MOT

Help control traffic and assist with the construction project

Check work zone throughout the shift to be sure the equipment is in proper location

Take directions from customers and officials as it relates to the project

Communicate and document effectively with the customer and office

Create a safe work zone that ensures that traffic stays out of the way of the workers. This involves setting up cones and safety barriers that show traffic where to drive, as well as holding up signs that tells traffic to either stop or to proceed slowly.

Work independently or part of a crew

Must be flexible to the schedule changes and available on weekends and holidays

Skills and Qualifications -

High School Diploma

2-3 years of Traffic Control Experience

Certification in Traffic Control a MUST

Must have a valid Drivers License

Full knowledge of the current local FDOT temporary traffic control standards

Computer Literate

Efficient in planning, organizing and safety
