Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic Infrastructure Team at our expanding Lexington KY office. This position reports to the Engineer Project Manager and is responsible for sitting on our Traffic / Planning group handling projects ranging from traffic impact studies and safety studies to signal / lighting design and maintenance of traffic plans. Qualified candidates will have a BA in Civil Engineering. Priority will be given to candidates who have a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do :

• Manage traffic projects ranging in size and complexity and / or traffic tasks within larger projects.
• Manage or assist in managing staff plans schedules and budgets.
• Develop or assist in the development of traffic signal designs traffic studies safety studies signing and pavement marking designs and maintenance of traffic plans.
• Prepare technical reports
• Prepare outward facing documents that present clear and concise findings to a general audience.
• Work within the standards and guidance of clients both in the public and private sectors.

Pay Range

$71600 - $124800 USD
