Job Summary
The Press Supervisor will supervise all aspects of the Press Department. Responsibilities include the assignment of department employees and coordination of workflow with other departments. Trains employees and evaluates progress.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and implements production sequences to meet production goals.
- Evaluates performance of individual employees based on goals for productivity and quality.
- Develops and implements standard operating procedures to promote efficiency and quality production.
- Coordinates preventative machine maintenance to minimize production down time.
- Supervises and trains employees on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ensures compliance with established plant policies and procedures.
- Implements production schedules by coordinating machine and personnel assignments
- Communicates with other department managers and supervisors regarding production schedules and requirements to ensure product quality and resource efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
