Job Summary

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Engagement (CTLE) provides Glendale Community College faculty opportunities for growth and the means to learn innovative teaching strategies for all instructional environments, and staff opportunities for connection and learning to be most effective in their work. Reporting to the Teaching and Learning Director, the Training and Development Consultant plays a vital role on the CTLE team. Key requirements of this position include developing and implementing training and professional development events for faculty and staff. In addition, this position helps provide ongoing support to faculty and staff and their use of our learning management system and other work-related needs.
Essential Functions
10% - Coordinates District training initiatives; Serves on relevant District committees; Communicates out pertinent information to stakeholders; Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in instructional design, training and development, education, or directly related field and two years of experience in training and development, and assessment or evaluation.
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

G. Ability to plan, implement, and manage projects or initiatives across multiple stakeholders or departments.
