Job Summary:
The Training Department Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Training and Quality Department functions from an administrative assistant level for the entire IES Communications group.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and track all training records (including but not limited to technical training, job specific training and safety training)
- Coordinate internal and external training programs
- Send class reminders to participants
- Manage classroom set-up including required catering
- Maintain training schedule and calendar
- Enroll participants in external training courses
- Assist with the scheduling of quality audits in the IESOS system
- Format, print and distribute required training materials
- Coordinate with training vendors
- Manage training records (Ex: Send out reminders to employees on continuing education requirements, certificates that require renewal, management reports,
- Assist team with training video creation and editing
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Regular attendance is mandatory
- Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and professional
- Must possess the ability to create, enhance, and implement process improvement(s)
- Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners
- Must be able to act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s)
- Must possess proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentation(s)
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Basic video production skills are a plus
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; College preferred.
- Must possess a minimum of two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in an office environment, preferably in office management
- Must be proficient with Outlook, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
- Previous experience with Spectrum and IESOS software preferred
- Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Experience with Adobe products; Captivate, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus
