Job Description

Overnight travel may be required as this position will support all Duke Energy regions; travel expenses will be reimbursed. This position is responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards / Work Methods, & training curricula and training materials for the Supply Chain department. The incumbent should be able to : Demonstrate expertise in developing a wide range of operating procedures and training modalities; Support compliance and customer training needs by designing and administering training products and services for assigned projects to enable achievement of Company and business unit goals; Develop or revise training products and services in accordance with approved processes and directives; Identify issues, advise supervisor / project manager of status, and develop and execute plans of action to remedy, monitor, and control to minimize negative impact; Ensure adherence to established service metrics and tools for measuring performance; Serve as a project resource on applicable projects related to internal or vendor training and provide status updates in accordance with approved work management processes; Solves training problems by conducting a comprehensive training needs / tasks analysis and review data, situations, guidelines, precedents, and company trends; Ensure satisfaction of customers by delivering responsive, high quality and cost-effective products and services; is sensitive and responsive to customer needs and concerns.
