Job Title : Traffic Project ManagerJob DescriptionActalent is seeking a licensed Transportation Engineer with at least 8 years of transportation project experience. This Engineer will provide technical design expertise to the project team and ensure the overall quality of client deliverables. Perform technical design for assigned projects with a working knowledge of traffic engineering in civil engineering. preparation of reports, studies, proposals, blogs, and journal articles.Understand basic financial terms and concepts as they apply to projects.Account for individual project task involvement, including scheduling, scope, role, and budget.Track multiple task budgets and schedules.Lead or contribute to business development efforts.Develop and follow up on qualifying leads.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering degree8+ years of transportation design experience requiredProfessional Engineering certificate requiredKnowledge in Civil 3D and / or MicroStation requiredDual traffic and planning experienceModeling background (VISSIM, etc., not Synchro)Traffic signal timing and operations timingsExisting client relationships and / or ability to build new onesExperience with municipalities and DOTsAbility to work in a collaborative environment and successfully lead co-workersEffective communication with other team leads and co-workersExperience in growing and retaining team membersExperience managing projects with multiple team membersUnderstanding of scoping and costing projects as well as managing budgetsExperience working on projects involving design, traffic signals, permanent signing, pavement marking, traffic control, ITS, and intersection geometricsWork EnvironmentWork Monday through Friday with flexible working hours. This position may require additional work outside of regular hours as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position. The team consists of approximately 40 professionals ranging from surveying, CAD design, and engineering.
