Job description
Qualifications
- Commercial Driver’s License with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements preferred at the time of employment.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to pass annual physical required.
- Must have a combination of experience and training in maintaining, repairing and rebuilding automotive engines, including diesels. ASE Certification is preferred.
- Ability to work well with students, parents, staff and the community.
- High integrity, excellent character, and good professional reputation.
- Abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
- Ability to be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent and prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to climb, stoop crouch, and crawl.
- Ability to perform routine and frequent physical activities such as bending and lifting / pushing / pulling up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds infrequently.
- Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
