Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Lead and supervise transportation teams, including dispatchers, drivers, and logistics coordinators.
Develop and implement transportation strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Monitor transportation performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and transportation laws.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) in transportation management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of transportation operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, make strategic decisions, and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
