Halff has an opening for a Transportation Leader to fill our Director of Transportation (P.E.) position at one of our Halff office locations in the Florida panhandle (Tallahassee, Chipley, Panama City Beach, Crestview). This is a strategic leadership position to expand our transportation practice in FDOT's District 3. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in District 3 and surrounding districts. Candidate will have civil engineering experience with a focus in transportation design and project management in the consulting industry and / or experience working with, or for, public sector clients. • Manage and grow a production team, strengthen client relationships, lead project pursuits, and lead delivery of transportation design projects.
• Manage personnel, budgets, schedules, sub consultants and client interaction.
• Work closely with the area Operations Manager and Transportation Practice Leader in business development activities.
