Job description

This is a remote position.

The Group Travel Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by developing and managing group travel accounts. This role involves creating customized travel packages for groups building relationships with clients negotiating contracts and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the travel industry determined sales skills and the ability to deliver personalized travel solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow group travel sales and revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the group travel segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including corporate leisure and special interest groups.
  • Create and present customized travel packages and itineraries that meet group requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless travel arrangements and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and emerging travel destinations.

Skills and Requirements :

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
  • Strong knowledge of travel products services and destinations.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Goaloriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with travel booking systems and CRM software is preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients or attend industry events.
