Position Summary
Under the direction of Director, Clinical Services the Regional Nursing Manager will be responsible for directing clinical care and ensuring clinical compliance with federal and state guidelines. This is a highly visible and challenging position, which will require a highly motivated and clinically astute leader focused on patient care and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manages a remote team of infusion nurses across multiple sites through coaching, training, and development.
Efficiently and effectively plans and executes the company-wide nursing program that follows all the pertaining legal procedures, nursing laws, and standards of nursing care.
Conduct quarterly site visits and audits to support the highest level of clinical excellence.
Makes recommendations regarding staff requirements to meet clinical needs.
Acts as a point of escalation from the nurses around clinical care and systems.
Resolves conflicts or escalates issues between the site of care and corporate operations.
Provides ongoing training and support for the locations of care.
Willing to support the site startup process and provide clinical care (including infusing patients) when needed.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience.
Education
Bachelors in Nursing or greater.
Active Compact RN license.
Critical Skills
5+ years of direct clinical care experience.
2+ years of Infusion experience required.
2 years of managing teams in multiple locations.
Strong management and development skills.
Ability to communicate and collaborate across business teams while being uncompromising in clinical care.
A process-oriented and patient-focused nature.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting to physicians.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 75% to multiple states.
