The purpose of this position is to provide semi-skilled and skilled installation, maintenance, and repair work on the water production system. This is accomplished by servicing equipment pertaining to the water production well-field treatment and delivery systems. Other duties may include completing related tasks as assigned. Shift work, weekends, holidays, standby duty, and callback duty may be required.

The ideal candidate for this position will have :
- Ability to perform skilled work and maintenance on Water Production equipment.
- Ability to read papers, periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias.
- Ability to deal with a system of real numbers; and practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios / proportions and measurement.
- Will assist in the installation, maintenance, inspections, and repair of equipment, machinery and systems related to Water Production.
- Ability to respond and troubleshoot customer concerns about water pressure as well as water quality concerns including taste, odor and color complaints.
- Ability to work with other departments regarding water quality and environmental compliance.
- Investigate and resolve technical problems and customer complaints and inform management of operational issues, needs or concerns.
