BIP.Monticello’s Financial Services practice area has helped our clients embrace uncertainty and drive innovation in capital markets and commercial banking for more than 19 years. To assist our clients with the next wave of change initiatives, we are seeking management consultants who have experience working on Banking / Capital Markets projects at leading financial institutions. Our team of consultants will assess the current state, identify, and remediate issues, and advise on strategic changes to improve the business.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5+ years of FX risk management experience in the financial services industry at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Sapient, etc.), global investment bank, or Fortune 500 company.
- 4+ years of Management Consulting or Project Management experience.
- Thorough understanding of FX risk management and hedging methodologies.
- Solid understanding of US Basel and FRTB regulatory requirements.
- Deep knowledge of treasury functions and balance sheet management.
- Experience analyzing balance sheet FX exposures to identify / quantify open risk and / or gaps in risk analytics reported in Value at Risk (VaR).
- Understanding of methodologies for risk identification, risk appetites / limits, and developing procedures & controls.
- Understanding of governance, framework, and control processes for management for FX Risk in Banking Book.
- Prior Banking / Capital Markets experience working on projects across CRO, Treasury, Technology, Compliance, Model Risk, and Finance.
- Provide regular management updates and status reports.
- Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders to develop process / system flows.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced challenging client focused environment where priorities and scope may change quickly.
- Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative, consultancy mindset with a focus on exceptional quality in all deliverables.
- Strong organizational and verbal / written communication skills. Experience drafting Policies, Procedures, and Standards preferred.
- Exceptional data analysis skills working with Excel, Tableau, SQL, Access, Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related business field (MBA or MA / MS degree is a plus).
- CFA or FRM certification is a plus
- The base salary range for this role is $90,000-$130,000
