Job Summary :
As a Loader, your primary responsibility is to load goods efficiently and safely onto trucks for delivery to customers by manually lifting and moving product cases using a variety of equipment and at different temperatures. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are properly handled, sorted, and loaded according to shipping schedules and quality standards.
Schedule : Saturday 8 : 00 AM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 4 : 00 or 6 : 00 PM
Pay Range : $20-$26 per hour
Essential Functions :
- Perform safe and efficient operation of pallet jack, double pallet jack and forklift.
- Perform inventory of all products and pallets to assure accuracy.
- Accurately load and scan palletized product on to trucks in order of driver stops.
- Responsible for organizing electric jacks and keeping them plugged in for driver use.
- Make sure that all safety measures are followed to secure the load.
- General clean-up of the dock when needed, assist with the truck cleaning, sweeping & organization of the area.
- Assist in other department areas as needed.
- Operation of a powered industrial truck (PIT)
- Additional duties as assigned.
