What does a Software Developer do?

The Software Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of existing and / or new applications. The position will work with analysts, other programmers, trainers, and quality assurance personnel in a team environment to ensure a quality product that meets user needs and delivers on development standards.

Position Details :

Location : Ft. Myers, FL

Work Schedule : 40 hours, 8 : 00 AM- 5 : 00 PM, Monday-Friday (some weekend / afterhours support / on-call rotation may be required)

Position Classification : Full-Time; Salaried Exempt, Entry-Level

Physical Demands : Sitting, typing, walking, and talking on the phone.

Work Environment : Office Cubicle

Required Experience and Education :

• Bachelor's or equivalent college degree - focus in computer science, MIS, or equivalent preferred
• Data analysis experience
• Strong knowledge of .NET and SQL Server
• 4+ years of client-based application development experience including design and programming skills
• Web development experience under the following technologies : Asp.NET Web Forms, MS Ajax, Java script, jQuery, ExtJs, Ext.NEt, Entity Framework, NPOI, My Generation, NANT, Cruise Controls, N Unit, XML, JSON, Web Services, WCF, Design Patterns
• Reporting service snowledge
• MSSQL Server DBA skills is a plus
