Job description

Labor Relations Manager/HR Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Labor Relations Manager with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor relations, employee relations, and strategic HR leadership, with a deep understanding of collective bargaining, compliance, and workforce engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR professional ready to expand their impact in both strategic HR initiatives and labor relations management.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to support all HR functions, with a focus on labor relations and people strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for union relations, including contract administration, grievance handling, and dispute resolution
  • Advise senior management on employee relations matters, labor compliance, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Lead or support collective bargaining negotiations, including preparation, strategy development, and execution
  • Coach and support HR team members and leaders on labor relations best practices and employee engagement strategies
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as collective bargaining agreements
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to proactively address workforce concerns and enhance employee relations
  • Analyze trends, metrics, and labor data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, with significant experience in labor relations and union environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience with collective bargaining, grievance processes, and labor contract administration
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues and drive resolution
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and workforce analytics
  • Certification from SHRM or a related professional organization is a plus.

Salary: Starting at $100,000 based on experience
