POSITION DETAILS
Department : Center for Orthopedics
Location : US : PA : Lewisburg
Typical Work Schedule : 7am-7pm, 3pm-11pm, and / or 11am-11pm (rotating weekends and holidays)

SUMMARY
The Unit Assistant is responsible for providing clerical service as well as assisting in providing patient care and maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with established policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School graduate or equivalent required.
2. Satisfactory completion of recognized formal program for nursing assistant / health care assistant / medical secretary preferred. Medical Terminology course preferred.
3. BLS certification required.
4. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
