As part of the branch team, the Personal Banker will work toward attracting new clients to Key and work with existing clients to develop and expand relationships based on their unique financial goals, leading to client confidence in their finances. Experience with sales is more important than financial services experience. KeyBank provides the tools and training, but we need relationship builders with a curious nature who are great at sparking conversations. (required) / liliUnderstanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports. (required) / liliFoundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking. (required) / liliComfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful. (preferred) / liliDemonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence, as this role will require significant influence of partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals. (required) / liliWorking knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.). Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
