About the Role :
As the Simulation Education Specialist, you will serve as a leader, innovator, and subject matter expert for simulation-based education. Your role will focus on the development, design, coordination, and implementation of simulation in the curriculum for Graduate Medical Education (GME), Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), Speech and Hearing Sciences (SHS), and Nutrition, Exercise, and Physiology (NEP). Reporting directly to the Assistant Dean for Simulation-Based Education, you will manage simulation curriculum, supervise staff, oversee budgets, and develop program policies.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and coordinate simulation-based education for diverse medical programs.
- Manage staff, budgets, and program policies related to simulation-based learning.
- Oversee simulation curriculum development and implementation.
- Foster faculty and staff development in simulation education.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Virtual Clinical Center.
- Provide high-level reporting and serve as a liaison between departments.
