Your Role

As an Upholstery Specialist (called a Senior Upholstery Technician internally), you will lead the execution of custom luxury upholstery projects with considerable judgment and initiative. You will play a key role in the construction and assembly of luxury coach interiors, leveraging your experience to guide the team, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements. Your ability to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and communicate technical information will be vital in ensuring high standards and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Upholstery & Fabrication : Execute and lead custom upholstery tasks, including seating, wall panels, and soft goods installations, ensuring superior quality and precision.
• Problem Solving & Innovation : Analyze problems and develop solutions to prevent repetitive issues, leveraging a combination of analysis and hands-on experience.
• Blueprint & Design Interpretation : Interpret blueprints and technical documents to ensure exacting standards are met in all projects.
• Informal Leadership & Mentorship : Serve as an informal team leader, guiding and mentoring junior technicians while fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
• Judgment & Initiative : Apply considerable judgment and initiative in determining methods and procedures for new assignments, adapting to project needs and challenges.
• Cross-Team Communication : Communicate technical and strategic information clearly to various audiences, ensuring that all teams involved understand project goals and requirements.
• Network Creation & Collaboration : Coordinate with different groups across the organization to drive project success, building strong networks with key stakeholders.
• Growth & Improvement Strategies : Develop strategies to enhance team growth, identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
