Are you ready to join a high performing Operations team where you can have a high level impact on the performance of a leading toy brand and increase the quality of its business plans?
Use your excellent collaborator skills to assure an optimal build up of the Singapore, Malaysia & APAC Travel Retail (SMTR) business plans, consolidating the input from brand and sales perspectives. Bring value for LEGO with your focus on quality, efficiency and effectiveness in managing the S&OP process.
Core Responsibilities
- Working with the business to gain an understanding of past performance and why there were deviations to expectations, including driving an understanding of the drivers behind forecasting critical metrics.
- Working with the Business Intelligence team to understand if there are any changes to the category or market macro performance that would impact the base level of consumer sales.
- Working through the forecasting team with the Sales and Marketing (S&M) groups to ensure there is an understanding of any changes in future assumptions behind the business plans and that they are reflected in the forecast.
- Challenge the assumptions that are provided to stress test the quality of the plan and the resulting forecast.
- Build the monthly coherent story line that explains past performance and future changes to the total business plans.
- Own the Gap to Target process with S&M to see opportunities to close gaps in Consumer Sales and Retail Inventory.
- Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP cycle.
Play your part in our team succeeding!
The demand planning and forecasting department is responsible for the monthly management of the SMTR Sales and Operations cycle to provide a strong understanding of past business performance and the impact to the future forecast. The role is essential in ensuring the business has a strong understanding and ability to answer the four questions of S&OP : What happened, Why did it happen, What does that mean for the future and What are we going to do about it.
Do you have what it takes?
What’s in it for you?
Here is what you can expect :
Children are our role models. Their curiosity, creativity and imagination inspire everything we do. We strive to create a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture of play at the LEGO Group, where everyone feels safe, valued and they belong.
