Location : Wilmington, MA 01887 (Onsite)
Duration : 6+ Months (Contract to Possible extension or Conversion)
Pay Rate : $50-60.00 / hr W2 (All Inclusive)
Job Description :
Plans, schedules, coordinates and / or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements.
Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers.
Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
Must- Haves (Hard Skills)
- Bachelor's degree
- APICS, Lean, and Six Sigma training preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment that includes new product introductions.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory, planning, and supply chain management.
- MS Office
- Ability / experience speaking in front of groups
