Job Purpose : The Wholesale Operation Planning Manager is responsible for managing a multi-category plan which serves a premiere global account. This position partners with the sales department to prepare seasonal plans considering current business trends and the company's annual business goals. Seasonal allocation to key accounts, communicating effectively with sales, warehouse, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders is an integral requirement of the role. This is a mid-senior level position and reports to the Director of Planning.
Responsibilities :
Own and manage wholesale planning and orders daily.
Supports and maintains yearly and season category sales plans by demand planning and forecasting inventory budgets, sales, projected dilutions (RTV, Discounts, MD), and margins are related KPI’s (bottoms-up planning).
Develops, Analyze, and actions comprehensive allocation strategy for daily allocation flow to ensure alignment with customer order dates, customer requested ship dates, available inventory, and arriving product.
Contribute to the weekly shipment planning process to ensure wholesale orders are accurately forecasted.
Provides sales and order management by maintaining customer bookings, fill rates, shipping statuses, and making exceptions (product shortages, cancellations, delays).
Actions order allocation and reallocation and transfers inventory between virtual warehouses.
Oversees receiving and allocation for two 3PL warehouses and ensures that orders are fulfilled on time.
Reconcile booking reports, past cancel, hold for confirmation, credit hold, oversold, bulk orders and return authorizations.
Partner with sales and customer service to ensure that any issues holding up allocation are resolved as quickly as possible.
Ensure transfer orders are executed between international warehouses in NetSuite.
Monitor past cancel orders and work with sales on actioning out extensions in NetSuite.
Returns processing : Coordinate returns for assigned products, review requests and pricing, and process RAs per customer return policy.
Split production POs between warehouse locations to fulfill all wholesale orders.
Communicate consistently with the warehouse on in-season shipping and re-order shipping.
Support sales team during and post-market, including rolling up final inventory buy and adjusting purchase orders, as necessary.
Enthusiastically take on other assignments as needed to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree operations or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 2 years wholesale operations planning experience for a mid to large sizes fashion brand or consumer goods company.
Experience working with international and domestic accounts like (Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, etc.)
Extensive knowledge and capabilities in Excel.
Experience using NetSuite and Skypad is an advantage.
Present and recommend strategies by building a business case.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex material in an organized and compelling manner.
