About You

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys a mix of complex cases, urgent care, surgery, and wellness within a predictable schedule. The role blends appointments and walk-ins, keeping work varied while supporting timely, high-quality patient care in a collaborative team environment.

The Role

This role includes walk-in urgent care, wellness, and sick visits, with opportunities for urgent surgeries without emergency or overnight coverage requirements.

You will :

• See walk-in urgent care cases throughout the day
• Support walk-in wellness and overflow appointments from other DVMs as needed
• Perform urgent surgeries (e.g., wound repairs, mass removals, pyometra when stable, GI foreign bodies as appropriate)
• Perform routine soft tissue surgery if needed.
• Collaborate with other doctors and a skilled technical team
• Practice high-quality medicine with appropriate diagnostics and treatment plans

About the UC / GP Hybrid Role

This position addresses a critical community need by providing efficient, compassionate care for non-critical cases, reducing wait times while maintaining high medical standards. We offer both walk-ins and appointments and coordinate closely with primary veterinarians to ensure continuity of care.

The UC / GP Hybrid position has been designed to meet a key need in our community and hospital. We aim to provide efficient, compassionate care to patients with non-critical conditions so that they receive great care without the wait!  We offer walk-ins and appointments for a range of conditions.  We maintain close contact with the primary veterinarians to ensure patients return for ongoing care with their family veterinarians.

We are open Monday – Saturday, 10 : 00 am-8 : 00 pm, and Sunday, 12 : 00 pm-5 : 00 pm
