Job Description :

At Regions, the Digital User Experience / User Interface (UX / UI) Designer is part of a User Experience team with a clear purpose : we drive user-centered design at Regions for the betterment of our customers and our business groups. As a designer, you'll work as an active partner on inclusive, cross-functional UX squads throughout the digital product lifecycle to design innovative, meaningful solutions that create a desirable customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Evolves design methodologies, processes and toolsLeads complex design projectsTranslates complex business requirements and functional specifications into design roadmapsCreates process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interaction models, etc. resulting in low-to-high fidelity prototypesContributes to and ensure designs are in line with our design system and industry best practicesOwns and tailors deliverables that balance product requirements, platform constraints, and stakeholder needs to deliver intuitive and effective design solutionsEnsures that UX standards are consistently applied across projectsEvaluates new software, tools and technologies and assist in implementation of new toolsAdvocates for user-centered design and champion user experienceCultivates strong relationships across the organizationFosters consistent, open communication between all stakeholdersMentors junior designers and contribute to the growth and development of the teamParticipates in and / or conduct observational and usability researchParticipates in SAFe Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, Inspect & Adapt, PI Planning, and retrospectivesInfluences, coach and develop team membersConsults with UX leadership to refine UX strategy and policyFacilitates effective design review sessions and foster an environment in which team members give and receive feedbackPromotes understanding of and advocate for human-centered designRequirements

Bachelor's degree in relevant field and eight (8) years relevant experience with UX DesignOr High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of related post-secondary education and / or equivalent work experience with UX DesignExperience designing in insurance, financial, or highly-regulated verticalsExperience in two or more of the following : user experience, interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, research, product design, and / or user interface designExperience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe, etcSkills and Competencies

Ability to effectively collaborate with others and demonstrate the value of ideasAbility to prioritize resource workload to efficiently deliver resultsAbility to lead, influence and operate effectively in a highly matrixed and complex environmentAdvanced level skills in two or more of the following : user experience, interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, research, product design, and / or user interface designDemonstrated accountability, initiative and flexibilityHighly skilled in user experience fundamentals : user interface design, interaction design, research, and / or accessibility standardsStrong interpersonal, presentation, data analysis and storytelling skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationExperience with Mobile app design for iOS and AndroidKnowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design, highly desired for this role

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future . Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. The locations available for this role are

Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target :

Minimum : $132,554.95 USDMedian : $160,190.00 USDIncentive Pay Plans : Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
