Our client is an AI-powered healthcare technology company leveraging large language models

LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and conversational AI to transform how patients

navigate the healthcare system.

As the first Senior Product Designer, you will play a foundational role in shaping the user

experience for AI-powered web applications and conversational interfaces. This is a

high-impact, hands-on role requiring strong visual design execution, deep UX expertise,

AI-driven design thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & User Experience

  • Own the end-to-end design process for AI-powered web and conversational applications.
  • Create elegant, scalable, and visually appealing interfaces that enhance AI-driven user

interactions.

  • Ensure high-quality, visually compelling designs—clear information hierarchy, polished UI,
  • consistent typography, and intuitive navigation are critical.

  • Refine cluttered or text-heavy interfaces into simple, digestible designs that improve usability.
  • Develop a clear and cohesive design system, ensuring consistency across all products.
  • AI-Driven Design & Technical Understanding

  • Deeply understand AI’s role in UX, including how LLMs, NLP, and automation enhance user
  • experience.

  • Design for AI-powered workflows, ensuring that conversational interfaces, predictive
  • systems, and automation features are intuitive and easy to use.

  • Stay at the forefront of AI-driven design trends, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation.
  • User Research & Data-Driven Design

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to inform design decisions.
  • Leverage data insights and behavioral analytics to refine user experience.
  • Champion the user—ensuring all designs are built with usability, accessibility, and AI
  • enhancement in mind.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to align design with company
  • goals.

  • Clearly articulate and defend design decisions, explaining the “why” behind UX / UI choices
  • based on user insights and data.

  • Help define the design vision, processes, and best practices for the company’s AI-powered
  • products.

    Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in UX / UI product design, with a strong focus on designing high-quality
  • digital products.

  • Demonstrated experience designing AI-powered applications, with a clear understanding of
  • LLMs, NLP, and conversational interfaces.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, visually compelling, and highly usable product
  • designs—not just startup experience.

  • Expertise in visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and interaction design—strong aesthetic and
  • functional design is a must.

  • Experience in refining complex, text-heavy interfaces into clean, digestible user experiences.
  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.) and a deep understanding of
  • interaction design principles.

  • Strong experience in user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Ability to translate complex AI-driven workflows into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
  • Proven collaboration skills—must be able to work effectively with engineers, product
  • managers, and executives.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or agile environment where ambiguity is
  • common.

    Nice-to-Haves

    Experience in healthcare UX design.

    Background in human-computer interaction (HCI) or cognitive psychology.

    Experience working with conversational AI or voice-based interfaces.

    Familiarity with designing for accessibility (WCAG standards).
