Job description

Our client is a mid sized renewable energy operator and cleantech innovator. They are looking to secure a project manager to work with utility scale solar projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee all project aspects of utility-scale solar power generation projects, from planning and development through to execution and completion.
Manage scope, scheduling, and budget ensuring all deliverables are met within the agreed upon parameters.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring all project tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Prepare and submit RFIs, manage contracts, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
Regularly report on project status to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the renewable energy industry, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the renewable energy industry.

Proven experience in managing utility-scale renewable power generation projects.

Strong knowledge of contract management and budget management.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
