Description & Requirements We are looking for an UI / UX application development professional to modernize and maintain a broad application portfolio including geospatial, mobile, web-based, and business applications for a Federal critical infrastructure agency.
They will be a member of a development team charged with supporting full stack applications in languages like Java, Angular, C#, PHP, React, and Vue.js.
These applications enable the American public and critical infrastructure leaders real-time visibility to environmental and compliance information throughout the United States.
They will deliver accessible, elastic environmental information for the agency and American public, as well as integrate with adjacent program offices to integrate and maintain capabilities. Major responsibilities include :
- Develop, create, and modify business applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Incorporate human centered and user-centered design methodologies to analyze user needs and deliver user-center software solutions.
- Design software or customize software based on client requirements, with an emphasis on optimizing efficiency and reliability
- May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

- US Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance Required
- University degree (BS) in a closely related field (Information Technology, Business Administration)
- 5+ years demonstrated experience as a full stack software or application developer
