Provide service excellence to our prospects and customers by accurately and efficiently fulfilling their needs. Responds to customer requests for price & availability, product information, technical support and expedites. Assist in the warehouse, working cross functionally between Parker store and Wilson warehouse teams.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Service walk-in customers
- Solve application problems for counter customers
- Process walk-in customer orders
- Manage all inventory
- Handle cash & credit
- Promote and sell products to increase sales and profits
- Cross over competitive products
- Purchase parts for rush orders and expedite items for customers
- Process customer returns
- Trouble shoot and resolve order processing issues
- Load customer part number cross-references & specific pricing information
- Utilize printed and on-line vendor information resources
- Keep product and reference information up to date
- Provide literature to customers
- Willing to assist and work between Parker store & warehouse
- Support warehouse team in ad hoc tasks
- Assemble hosing & hose kits
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Make in-person calls to current and prospective Parker Store customers twice monthly. This can be done on your own or with an Account Manager.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
