Job Description
We are looking for a detailed?oriented, driven, and resourceful professional to support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations for our Operations & Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Construction groups. The successful candidate will coordinate inventory, maintain quality, and minimize costs while ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Support all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring inventory integrity and compliance with policies.
- Label stocks using identification tags and marking tools; receive and count items, and dispatch parts.
- Maintain up?to?date inventory counts and critical spares at or above minimum levels.
- Generate and compare inventory reports with physical counts, investigate discrepancies, and adjust errors.
- Store items orderly in warehouses, tool rooms, or supply rooms.
- Inspect received parts, coordinate with shop inventory personnel to resolve damage, shortages, or nonconformance.
- Package and unpack items for stocking and verify shipments against invoices, manifests, and orders.
- Prepare shipping documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders for domestic transport.
- Record shipment data (weight, charges, space, damages) for reporting and accounting.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to meet safety regulation compliance.
- Assist safety department with reporting, repairing, and replacing broken tools.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and rigging equipment for loading and unloading.
- Coordinate with technicians to authorize parts releases.
- Communicate effectively and work both independently and within a team.
- Complete required certifications and training for equipment use.
- Maintain daily and weekly cleaning of shop and work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
