Good customer service skills and communication skills. Ability to physically load and unload the van frequently. Possess the ability to operate a mechanical chair lift on van. Bethany St. Joseph Corporation has proudly served Coulee Region families since 1977. We are a reliable healthcare organization, known for quality care, committed staff, and an uplifting community atmosphere. We're looking for a Part Time or Full Time Van Driver for our La Crosse location.
Shift Availability :
This position works anywhere from 20-40 hours per week, depending on resident transportation needs.
Hours may vary, ranging from 7 : 30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
Occasional Saturday shifts required.
Job Responsibilities :
- Operate a facility-owned van to transport residents to and from appointments.
- Transport new residents to facility upon admission.
- Responsible for assuring the van meets all safety requirements and reporting any needed repairs.
- Communicate with facility via cell phone for pick-ups and changes in the driving schedule.
- Responsible for the completion of records regarding the transport of residents for billing purposes.
- Perform other assignments as directed by supervisor.
- Transport resident lab, x-rays or other material as needed.
