We are recruiting for a co-medical director board certified criticalist for a large, 24-hour referral, emergency and hybrid hospital located in Pearl City, Oahu.

This is an opportunity to walk right into a successful specialty hospital, with a reputation for excellence, in one of the most desirable locations in the nation. The building is composed of a specialty side and a GP side. Their specialty services include two Internal Medicine specialists, a Surgeon, and an Ophthalmologist. They have a very talented group of DVMs that provide emergency and holistic medicine. The clinic has a large emergency and urgent care case-load and ready to add a Criticalist to the team.

The facility provides a dynamic working environment with a dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate technical staff. They have all the latest diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring toys that are needed to support you including an 8-slice CT, DR, C-arm, telemetry, laparoscopic, endoscopic, thoracoscopic, and lithotripsy equipment. In addition, VCA OVSC has a strong bond and reputation within the community.

The Criticalist position is a hospitalist role along with staff training within the ICU and ER departments. They are looking for a leader for the staff and DVMs.
