Receptionist - Full Time

Copper Hills Youth Center is a 24 / 7 secure residential treatment center (behavioral health) for male and female adolescents aged 12 through 17. We counsel, teach and mentor students who have psychiatric disorders. Our goal is to provide treatment that results in positive changes, allowing these youth to return to their families and communities.

Schedule Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm include but are not limited to :

Obtains telephone caller's name and directs to appropriate personnel and / or receive messages and deliver them timely and accurately.

Directs visitors to destination and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person requested. Includes screening of visitors to make sure they have appropriate clearance to interact with the requested resident.

Assists the Executive Assistant and Accounting Department as directed.

Performs administrative duties as required and assist with requests from other departments.

Keep a log and schedule of future visitors as well as coordinating with Taxi and Hotel services as needed.

Issues visitor's pass as required.

Collects and distributes mail and messages and processes packages including FedEx.

Performs variety of clerical and other duties as assigned.

Work with other Departments throughout the facility and ensure that all staff sign residents in / out of the building.

Assist Mental Health Workers to perform searches as requested.

Complete required training in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education / Experience :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Experience and proficiency using various office equipment, such as phones, computer, postage machine, etc.

Experience and proficiency using various office programs including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Other Qualifications :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands and fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move approximately 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision, color and depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
